Breatheasy for Teams agreement
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This agreement is between Casefemme LLC, 6374 Busch Blvd, OH ("Breatheasy", "we", "us"), and the organization that signs up for Breatheasy for Teams ("the Customer", "you"). By starting a pilot or a paid plan, the person signing up confirms they're allowed to accept this agreement for the Customer.
1. The service
1.1 Breatheasy for Teams gives the Customer's employees and other people the Customer chooses ("Members") access to Breatheasy Premium, a self-help app for anxiety and panic, and gives the Customer a dashboard to manage its plan and see anonymous group results.
1.2 Members join with a join code or invite link from the dashboard, using their own Breatheasy account. Each Member's account belongs to the Member, not the Customer, and is also covered by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1.3 Not a medical or crisis service. Breatheasy is a wellbeing and self-help tool. It doesn't diagnose or treat any condition and isn't a substitute for professional care, an Employee Assistance Programme or emergency services. The Customer won't present it to Members as medical treatment.
2. Pilot
2.1 Each new Customer can have one free pilot. It lasts 30 days from when the first Member joins.
2.2 We don't ask for payment details for a pilot. If the Customer doesn't move to a paid plan, Members simply return to the free version of Breatheasy when the pilot ends.
3. Price and payment
3.1 The price is US$3.29 per covered employee, per month, for the number of employees the Customer chooses in its dashboard ("Covered Employees"). The number of Members who can join is limited to the number of Covered Employees.
3.2 We invoice monthly or yearly in advance, as agreed with the Customer. Invoices are due within 30 days. Prices don't include taxes, which the Customer pays where they apply.
3.3 The Customer can change its number of Covered Employees at any time. Increases are invoiced from the date of the change, and decreases apply from the next billing period.
3.4 We may change the price with at least 60 days' written notice, taking effect at the Customer's next renewal.
4. Privacy and data protection
4.1 Members' data belongs to Members. We process Members' personal data (including health information they enter) as an independent controller, under our Privacy Policy and our privacy promise to teams, to provide Breatheasy to each Member. We don't process it on the Customer's behalf or under the Customer's instructions.
4.2 The Customer receives no personal data about Members. The dashboard shows only the number of Members who have joined and aggregated results that each require at least 10 contributing Members, calculated only from activity after each Member joined. The Customer agrees not to try to identify any Member from these results, by combining them with other information or otherwise, and not to ask Members whether or how they use Breatheasy.
4.3 No employment decisions. The Customer won't use Breatheasy, the dashboard or anything in it to make decisions about any individual's hiring, pay, performance, promotion, discipline or dismissal.
4.4 The Customer's own contact data. We process the names and work email addresses of the Customer's dashboard users to provide the dashboard, send sign-in links and send invoices and service messages. We use them for nothing else and don't share them with third parties except our service providers (hosting and email delivery).
4.5 Security. We protect data with reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, access controls and keeping only what we need. We'll tell the Customer without undue delay if we become aware of a security incident affecting the Customer's dashboard users' data.
4.6 Where data is stored. Data is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, in its database service.
5. The Customer's responsibilities
5.1 The Customer will share the join code only with people it intends to cover, and can make a new code at any time from the dashboard.
5.2 The Customer is responsible for keeping its dashboard sign-in email accounts secure.
5.3 Any support line the Customer adds to the app's crisis screen must be accurate and suitable for Members to call. The Customer is responsible for that service.
6. Term and ending
6.1 This agreement starts when the Customer signs up and continues until either side ends it.
6.2 Either side can end a paid plan by giving notice before the next billing period. We don't refund periods already paid for, except where the law requires.
6.3 We may end or suspend the plan if the Customer doesn't pay undisputed invoices within 30 days after a reminder, or seriously breaks this agreement (especially section 4).
6.4 When the plan ends, Members keep their accounts and return to the free version. We delete the Customer's dashboard and its users' contact details within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
7. Liability
7.1 Breatheasy is provided "as is". We don't promise any particular health, wellbeing or productivity result.
7.2 To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and each side's total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount the Customer paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law.
8. General
8.1 We may update this agreement. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email to the Customer's dashboard users.
8.2 This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, and the courts of Ohio have jurisdiction, unless the law where the Customer is based says otherwise.
8.3 Questions or notices: hello@usebreatheasy.com.
